2019 SOA Cultural and Historical Summit
A cultural and historical summit was held for visitors in September 2019.
On this 3 day-Summit, delegates attended a day at the Hospital of St John in Jerusalem, learning of its work and inspecting its facilities. On the second day, the group was taken on a historical tour of the Old City by Nicholas Porter, including a special ceremony in the Muristan Clinic to thank the Order of Malta’s support. On the third day, Delegates visited the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem.
Social events included lunch and a Gala Dinner in the Hospital gardens, a reception at the British Consulate General, and a service of rededication at the Cathedral of St George.
